size of roof rafters

converting a stable, the rafters are only 2x3's, is this an issue?

We come across 3x2 rafters all the time in loft conversions, really you should have a structural engineer look at the load it is bearing..... without more information you are only going to get guesswork. The likelihood is that 3x2 is fine for the current configuration but if you are converting it and moving perlins etc you may need to upgrade the size of the rafters
