Nobo electric heater not warming up with a blinking red light

Hi all, I have a Nobo electric heater with a R80 RDC 700 controller. Over the weekend, I tried to switch it on and it made a noise (like a fuse blowing?) and now "comfort" setting light just blinks red. Does anyone know what the blinking red light means? >> From Nobo.. Blinking red is an indication on error on the internal power circuit. A new controller needed. Thanks.
