Best to leave wall papering for at least 6 months. You can get the costs of resiting your meters from your utility providers. Unfortunatley the price they quote is what you pay.

It is better to wait before wallpapering to allow new plaster to settle and shrink before papering and to allow all moisture to be drawn out of the walls. With regard to the moving of meters this is down to the utility baord and the cost for either is generally £500 up depebding on work involved, get utility board down for a quote. Gas is generally based on fixed fees per element, i.e. move meter, cost per linear metre of pipe, cost for erxcavation and is done on a self assesed quote form.

After completion of any new build or extension I would wait at least 12 months if it has been plastered if dry lined this would not be required. To move gas or electric meters from the intake positions is usually very expensive and you have to get a quote from the supplier you are probably talking thousands of pounds and a lot of paperwork and thats after spending half of your life trying to get the right information if there is any way you can avoid moving the services then please consider it first.
