No hot water after burst pipe

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.25 PM

Hi The pipe in my bathroom burst. We turned off the water and replaced the pipe. There was a small airlock in the radiator which we bled and the CH seems to be working fine. The problem is the water heats up a little then runs cold. Any idea what the problem is and how it can be fixed.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi this is hard to say as there is so many variables. Have you checked the boiler pressure is 1.5 bar this could stop the hot water. Also the diverter valve is possibly not working or the water thermostat is faulty. Not much help but a good plumber will be able to look and tell you. Cheers Exceeding expectations
