How much would it cost to restore a 1930s front door

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.25 PM

Hi We've got a 1930s widen front door which has cracked, warped and the locks are starting to stick. We'd much prefer to keep the door but wanted to know if it's more cost effective to fix the door or replace it. I do have pictures if required. Thanks

I would change the door. not worth spending the time on it. buy an old door the right size from reclaimers. Best if this was acid dipped and all you need to do is wax it if in good condition. take your time to get the right door. do not be tight with your dosh as it can transform the look
