Handle seems to be catching on uvpc window

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.06 PM

The handle on the window turns easily when the window is open but when closed it's very difficult to turn the handle to lock it closed. When pulling the window to close it seems to be catching where the handle is. Any ideas how to fix this problem? Thanks

The catch could be bent making it difficult to lock when closed , as for it it catching, could be that the window has sagged meaning it needs the glass beads removing and packing with window packers to spread the weight from the center

Sounds like it needs an adjustment as it's dropped. Needs a 'toe & heal' to counter balance the weight and lift it back to original postition so the mechanism and lock keeps line up.
