Boiler dropping pressure from 1.5 bar to 0 within 10 minutes

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.06 PM

boiler pressure on 0 and has to be filled up to 1.5/2 bar ( which take 2/3 minutes) loses pressure within 10/15 minutes then won't have hot water or heating. Had extension 2 months back and all heating hot water been fine since then, recently boiler dropping pressure rapidly, have checked for leaks and can't locate anything in all new rooms, could there be leak in now cealed concrete floor or existing poly pipe joints in rooms not touched, Can't see no damp coming up walls. I'm hoping it's a boiler issue as I can see some water coming out of gulley where 2 pipes come from boiler but can't see if it's condense pipe or another copper pipe. Any suggestions would be greatful!

Locate the copper pipe sticking outside your house. Does it look like it has been leaking? Either way, it is either a leak, or your pressure vessel needs recharging/replacing.
