Sourcing and fitting internal glazed bi-fold doors

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.45 PM

I currently have 2 x 686mm wide internal doors in the opening between my lounge and dining room. I am wanting to create more space in the dining area without full size doors swinging into the area. Are there any partially glazed bi-fold doors available which are not on a track system i.e. standard hinges so that they can be moved back against the dining room wall? If so I will need a joiner to supply and fit the doors.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, you would have to look online about what doors are available, but once found they can be hung using parliament hinges, then the doors will fold back right to the wall, any carpenter worth his salt can do this. Screwfix stock these hinges.
