Hot water only available 1 tap at a time

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 2.42 PM

When we run the hot water in one of the bathrooms, no hot water is available in any other of the hot taps e.g. sinks, shower. For example if I'm running a bath and someone wants to wash their hands in the sink no water comes out of the sink tap. We have a combi boiler, my plumber said its to do with the water pressure provided by water company and water company says its not them.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi It's most likely the main supply pipe that comes onto your property. Usually the main in the street is ok, but the pipe coming onto your property is either undersized, corroded or damaged. The only way to resolve this is to renew your supply pipe from the water company stopcock in the road to your internal stopcock. Hope this helps. Fred.

Hi, if you got good pressure from mains, then you must have pipe blockage ,or a isolation valve half shut, i think its something silly kind regards colin.
