Freshly plaster boarded and plastered walls - windows have bad condensation

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.25 PM

Could anyone advise the best method of venting rooms that have bad condensation in the mornings on the windows? The childs bedroom window is the worst and we have recently plaster boarded and plastered everywhere in the house and painted (last month) we are concerned with it being a first house. Should we put air vents through the wall?

Hi, There are a few options available, some cheaper than others i.e. you could install trickle run extractor fans to keep moisture out and other more exapencive but a better job in general Amd in terms of energy efficiency better you could install a dehumidifier in the loft with a heat recovery unit built in.
