Removing plasterboard

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.06 PM

I have recently started removing the plasterboard from my kitchen but there is constant big blobs of concrete on the plastered solid wall behind it how do I remove it

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi there the solid patches are just the plasterboard adhesive. You can remove these by using a hammer and bolster/old chisel and knock them off the wall. Cheers

Hi, Harry is probably right about it being dry wall adhesive, however some people may have cut corners and used bonding or something similar to fix your boards. The only way is a bit of tough love on it, with a hammer and bolster. If you're finding it a bit too hard like that, get a sds drill with a breaker part on it. This will remove it with no hard work whatsoever. Hope this was helpful. Kind Regards John
