putting reclaimed solid wood floorboards onto laminate flooring. The subfloor is concrete?

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.33 PM

I am wanting to glue or screw recaimed solid wood floorboards to a laminate floor, is this possible or do i need to remove the laminate first. I am thinking the laminate will act as a moisture barrier.? The subfloor appears to be concrete

Hello. You need to remove the laminate first.

You need to get in a professional installer, if you don't know that removing the old flooring is required you're not capable enough to fit a solid wood which is very technical.
