Small part of painted wall now too smooth

My son has painted his bedroom but in two corners he thought the plaster was to rough and he sanded it with the result it is too smooth what should he do now
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

sand down the remaining wall...

Sand down the remainder of the wall so the area is all equal. Apply a white wash coat of paint so to seal new smooth plaster. Then paint with the paint colour you've chosen, a miss coat , then a finish coat.
