how much weight should a meter height kithchen wall cabinet takes ? and safety ?

hallo , How much weight one meter height kitchen wall cabinet should take ? what types of screws and how many should be used to fix into a wall especially there is a piece of wood of 15mm thickness which go between the cabinet and the wall? How do I know it is safe because at the moment there is nothing store on it , how do I determine the weight of these one meter wall cupboard holds ? thanks in advance !

Depending upon the make of the brackets supplied with the wall unit but as a rule 20KG per 500mm width... or 28KG for a 1000mm wide unit, using 5x70 spax screws in standard brown wall plugs drilled at a slight downward angle. 2 per plate. Blum wall hangers are rated to 130k max load Hettich are 65kg per hanger. Hope this helps
