Different thickness of tiles - Does it matter?

We are choosing tiles for a bathroom and have found wall tiles and mosaic tiles that are a really good colour match. They come from different suppliers and I have noticed that they are different thicknesses. I have no idea about tiling, other than we need to make a quick purchase decision. Does the thickness matter? Is it fairly straightforward to match them up? Thanks.

This is quite normal but not straight forward. Use a good tiler or suffer a sub standard finish.
