Basin waste to toilet waste
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.44 PM
Hi, Is there any other way of connecting a basin waste to my toilet waste apart from the usual basin to WC connector? The reason I ask is because I just purchased one of these connectors, but due to the toilet pan I have the basin inlet on the connector is far to close to the toilet pans connection, so it won't fit. Any other way to get this basin waste to connect to toilet waste pipe? Is there a connector where the basin waste inlet is in a different position still being straight? Thanks

Hi if you have access to the 100mm pipe coming out from the pan connector you can add a boss strap connector available from screwfix etc. You need to drill out a hole the size of the boss internal hole plus allow for the lugs on the back to be inside the hole also check first. Then the boss strap is glued and clipped on using a waste pipe suitable pvc glue and then basin pipe can drop in, if you Google boss strap I'm sure that you will find an image to help explain it better, hope this helps
