Upvc door to be fitted into appeture with a slight arch at the top
Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.33 PM
Hi I will be fitting a new front pvc door with built in top light which is all square. This is going into an appeture which has a slight arch at the top. The new door and frame finishes at the point that the arch starts leaving just the arch with a gap in. I was wondering how you would go about "filling" this area in as secure as possible? Thanks

You can put a small 3x2 stud above then put some insulation in cut and screw sum marine ply to size fix that to the stud then you can clad in pvc flat board glued on with solvent free gripfill
