How can I use a water based eggshell paint over a solvent based undercoat?

I mistakenly used Dulux Trade undercoat - which is solvent based - and have now found that the water based paint that I want to use over it - a Farrow and Ball paint - will not take. Is there anything I can do? I have tried using another water based primer and undercoat on top of the Dulux paint, but the same happens.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

as previously mentioned, leave the oil based undercoat to dry and then rub back with 80 or 100 grit sandpaper. Then apply two coats of chosen undercoat. Farrow and Ball recommend you use their undercoats especially if you are not having white woodwork I would highly recommend using them. It does make a big difference to the final F&B colour. Then apply you eggshell or gloss as F&B don't do a Satin and you all sorted. 1 Solid coat of water based undercoat would be adequate in my opinion then two coats of your desired topcoat.

A full surface sanding is required to provide a key. Might go for p80 sandpaper. Then use a good adhesion water based undercoat applying two coats, sanding in between the coats. Your F&B should work then.
