Looking for a plastering apprenticeship in Essex
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.05 PM
I'm 19 & I have recently done a plastering course and have gotten NVQ level 1 in plastering and would like to go on to do this as a career and gain more experience so i am looking for anyone to take me on as an apprentice, soon I'll also have NVQ level 1 in tiling & have my CSCS card. I live in Dagenham Essex but am willing to travel.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi Alex, I would suggest your best course of action is to get a job as a labourer with a large well established limited plastering company, They will have a system of progressing you on to a level2 NVQ but this may take about one year if you learn fast, a level1 wouldn't get you a job as a plasterer
Hope this helps

Hey dude!
Should be proud of yourself for learning trades, they’re not dying out but a lot of the younger generation are not so keen at getting they’re hands dirty!
Call up every plasterer on checkatrade in you’re area and ask every guy for a job, one will pick you up! That’s exactly how I started:)
