Which adhesive? Replacing a floor tile on 50/50 concrete and wooden floor underneath...
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.43 PM
I've removes a cracked 300mm x 300mm tile in my kitchen and underneath it is both wooden floor and concrete... I'm now confused as to which adhesive I need to use. The tiles are porceline and there is under-floor heating wires just coming out from under the tiles on the concrete side... Can I just use a flexible adhesive? I have some quick-set left over from a different job - should I buy the flexible additive or bite the bullet and buy it ready-made?

Use your flexible cement based adhesive but must have an expansion joint over and through tile at concrete and wood joint.
This was missing and the reason for the crack.
