How can I fit a water supply kit onto my toilet.

I have 15" copper pipe / water supply to my toilet and would like to fit a water supply kit that I've brought. The kit fits onto 1/2" water supply. What am I able to do? Thanks.

I am assuming its a type of lime scale reducing
system!
