Tops of rads heat when hot water is geig used ut Central Heating is off

Hello and thanks for reading At the start of the week I had a 30 year old floor standing Stellard Ideal boiler in the kitchen replaced with an Ideal Logic Plus 30w. All radiators worked before the replacement but the system was old and I had to use an immersion in the summer when the boiler was off hence was looking forward to running hot water and a bit of saving on gas bills. Woke up yesterday and water was leaking through the kitchen ceiling ...they came back and sorted it...and attempted to sort the rest of the problems...by the way they were paid in full on my credit card When central heating is off and I use hot water (which I was told to run slowly to let it heat..it takes approx 2mins 15secs to get hot) the tops of various radiators start to heat (some are fed from the top and some from the bottom) and three radiators are stone cold and refuse to work. The fitters were her for ages and don't seem to think the rads heating when hot water being used is a problem...am I paying for this heating? They are going to get back to me when they have decided what needs done to rectify problem. and said there could be quiet a mess as rads will probably have to come off and be taken outside to hose It's an old awkward shape cottage ... I wish I'd never started this as I had working radiators before . They put something like Ferex? through the system
