Moving radiators directly under windows and old cold water tank with combi boiler

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.23 PM

Hi My OH and I buying a 3 beds semi-detached in Barnehurst (Bexley). The lounge's radiator and the master bedoom's one are positioned on the right side internal wall instead of under the windows (front house). This interferes with furniture placement. We would like those 2 radiators to be relocated under the windows. Is it expensive to do that? And is that a straightforward job? How long would it take? Should plastic or copper pipes be used? What size should the pipes? Which is the best for long term? Price wise, would there be much difference? Also the house has an old cold water in the loft and it has a new combi boiler installed back in 2010. What would be the best setup? Should the cold water tank be kept? Many thanks in advance M.

Hi the radiators should be easily moved using 15mm copper pipes is preferred and the cold water tank should also be easily moved. Best Regards Daniel North East Heating and Plumbing Services
