Best quality/value bathroom taps

Hello - I need to replace some taps with Victorian/traditional taps/shower mixer. There are so many brands and I want to make sure I get something where the chrome doesn't start peeling off after five months etc. What are your recommendations? Thank you!

I would highly recommend going for a well known brand such as Bristan as these are highly quality, easy to maintain with spares readily available.
