Northeast company installing quality ceiling Windows or sun tubes in flat roof.

Hi, I am currently in the process to have a rubber roof installed on a small flat roof. To encourage more light we are looking for a quality ceiling window to be installed. My question is...should the window be installed before the new roof or the roof be installed before the window. The roof company have stated that they will return when window is complete to make sure it is water tight as to comply with their guarantee. Also, I have been told not to get a velux window. Can anyone recommend a quality window or sun tube?

The epdm should ideally be laid after the new roof light is fitted.
Try permaroof for a domed roofing kit.
