How to fill drill holes in interior brick wall

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.05 PM

Hello, had a damp survey done a while ago and had small but deep hole made to take brick samples from the interior of the property. What's the best way to fill them up? Can I use caulk, normal filler or do I need to use mortar/limestone? Cheers

If you want a professional look, I would find some similar coloured bricks or roof tiles and using a suitable grinder, grind up some brick /tile dust, mix this dust with a mortar mix (sand/Cement) and fill holes. Try doing a sample first, to get the correct ratios of dust and mortar. If done properly it should be difficult to see the filled in holes. Hope this helps?
