Hi,
I am assuming here that your builder has fitted cast iron to plastic gutters joining one to the other. If not
the just get a new fitting and renew it. If it is cast to plastic then he may have done one of to things.
1. Drilled through both the cast and plastic sections
bonded them with adhesive such as silicone or similar
then bolted the two sections together. If this is a
long run over say 4m then he should have re set the
falls of the guttering brackets it takes about 30mins
to complete. This has probably failed.
2. If its plastic to plastic then again falls can cause
leaking on the central joint also its well worth checking if the new gutter matches the old as some do not match dependant on age.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Leaking gutters are usually very simple to fix. Either the fitting are faulty i.e no rubber.
Either find fault and replace fitting or post job and get a tradesman to solve problem.
You can claim costs back from builder via small claims if there is a written guarantee which is still valid.
