Lukewarm water from shower

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.43 PM

Shower (controlled by combi boiler) is emitting only luke-warm water. Ran cold water tap in bath and put shower on - water is warm/hot. Not boiler issue - hot water taps in bathroom/kitchen are fine. Bathroom re-fit about 3 weeks ago stemming from insurance claim - plumber decided to fit bathroom taps the wrong way around! Any ideas?

Hi sounds to me like it could be the thermostatic valve inside your shower if it's a new shower it probably just needs adjusting or if it is old it may need replacing. Hope this helps. Thanks D.Price
