Always work on 10 blocks per m/2. If it's double skin x by 2

10 blocks per m2.
You may want to think about including piers if its to be built single skin though. Blocks laid flat next to the openings and also bonded piers in the middle of the side walls. 2 blocks laid flat = same height as 1 block laid normally.
