Block paving and how would i leave a joint between each block set without them moving?

Right my friend wants a plock paving drive putting down witch i have dun many times but they want i 3 quarter inch gap between each joint and then pointed how or what would i lay them on can a lay them on a sharp sand and cement mix?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

They need laying on a sand / cement bed like you would stone setts, use a brush in polymeric jointing compound to point up.

Yes a sand and cement screed/bed would be best, then use a product like easy joint which is swept into the joints after paving the drive, remembering to use plenty of water whilst sweeping with a soft brush. After check the joints between blocks for any sinkage/indentation and top up with easy joint if needed. This Resin joint compound product also comes in a variety of colours to match coloured block. Any left over easy joint can also be stored for future use.

Yes Sharp sand and cement would be ok than use some easy join for the joints instructions should be on the tub for any one who needs help doing it

You can point with a few different products!
Try out easy join resin , you just brush it between the gaps and it will go off solid :-)
