What is the best way to reroute the combi boiler condensate to the bathroom pipework?

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 2.42 PM

Was considering how best to reroute combi condensate to adjacent bathroom pipework, so that the whole section is kept indoor to prevent condensate pipe freezing over the winter.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

It would be hard to say without seeing your particular layout The co dense should have a 50 mm fall per metre away from the boiler or you could install a condense pump which would pump it. Which would give you more options. Kind regards Terry

as long as you have got a fall on the condensate pipe you can put a swept tee on your 40mm bath discharge pipe with a 40mm to 21.5 bung in the top and put the condensate pipe into that.tom clydebank plumbing & heating
