Is it possible (easy..) to move a fuse box?

Hi all I have a rather archaic and bulky fuse box in the kitchen that, because of its placement, is limiting what I can do regarding kitchen refurb How easy is it to move it approx 1m diagonally away, to be in the same cupboard as the boiler will be? Thanks! Miles

It's a job for a professional, and I certainly would not move it into the same cupboard as the boiler. Contact a competent, registered electrician to give you some advice and indeed a quote to move it if needed. It will require notification to building control, and a electrical installation certificate. Plus your main earthing, and earth bonding to gas and water may need upgrading also. Please don't attempt this yourself.
