Gas Works

Installation of gas cooker

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.04 PM

Hi I'm looking to move my kitchen from where it is situated in my house to an extension, fitted to the rear, the extension is a breeze block building and I was just wondering if it can be located there as its not a supporting wall?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Three primary conditions to consider: 1. Room has to be at least 10m3 in volume to accommodate your existing cooker 2. Room has to have an openable window 3. Can the gas service be extended to serve the new location of cooker and still provide sufficient gas for safe operation? NB: Wall type is irrelevant.
