Plumbing

Saniflo toilet in upstairs bedroom

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.22 PM

I have just bought a house where there is a Saniflo toilet and sink in an upstairs bedroom. Can this be removed safely and would it interfere with soil stacks and other plumbing in the main bathroom ?. Thanks

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi there The saniflo can be removed and the old pipe that took the waste away needs to be capped off where it goes into the main drainage or otherwise you will get a foul smell coming back up through, also wiring should be made safe that went to the unit. Hope this helps :)
