Kitchen Fitting

Built in oven ventilation

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.22 PM

Hi there we have just had a complete kitchen overall. With 2 x built in bosch series 8 ovens. However I've just noticedone that there does not seem to be any Ventilation above the 2 ovens. The builders stated this is because there is enough gap behind the Units when the full bank of units was put in on the one wall that holds these ovens. Is this OK? I'm stressing now

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

your builder is right, (don,t stress )modern day ovens are designs to fit into these housing it would be more likely to have a vent at the bottom in the plinth if it was a fridge or fridge freezer as this actually produce more external heat than a oven the gap behind the unit is will be 50mm-55 which is fine as very little heat is produced out side of the oven body. chillllll
