alternatives to coving?

hi there, i'm wondering if there is an alternative to coving that i could do myself to edge rooms? i want to have 2 small bedrooms, a small bathroom and hall coved but im worried it might be expensive. Is this a big job? its a new build flat i have so all walls are even.

A cheaper polystyrene coving system is available with all corners pre-cut so installation by yourself is very simple .
