Accidental painted one wall of my son's room with paint for metal/wood

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.22 PM

Hi I wanted a feature wall for my son and after I had painted the one wall of his room we realised it was actually a metal/wood paint. Will it be ok on the wall? Could I potentially paint or paper over it or do I need to strip it off??

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

hi there, you don't need to strip it off, what you can do try with a scraper if doesn't come off, you should get some sandpaper 120 and sand it ...

If the paint is water based then you can paint over it also you can wallpaper over it either way.
