Can anyone one help me my neighbour has just added trellis to the top of our a joining fence which takes it to 7.3 ft but also she has added half inch spikes to the top to apparently stop our cats going in her garden ? Is this legal? Thank you in advance

The people to ask are the planning folks at your local council. You should be able to find their details by simply searching for the local council online and then ring them and ask to speak to the planning department and ask them. They will point you in the right direction. If the property is rented, the normal answer would be no as the height should be only 6' on the back and sides and 4' at the front. If this is the case then you need to talk to their landlord.
