Cutting of existing flooring

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.32 PM

My wooden flooring runs the entire length of the lounge area. A false wall was erected to separate the room and make a dining room. I now want to replace the lounge flooring only. Would a joiner be able to cut the flooring where it meets the wall and if so, would this compromise the flooring at the other side?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Yes this could be done quite easily with a laser line or chalk line and a circular saw to cut out where needed.
