Where can I source good quality slate tiles?

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.41 PM

I'd love to have grey slate tiles in my kitchen, but having done a bit of internet research, its clear that its really important to have quality slate. Tops Tiles seems to be out, so where should I go? I had a look at Fired Earth, and the slate looked ok there (I'm no expert). But I've read that its another place to avoid. I'm in East London

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

http://www.theslatecompany.co.uk/product-category/slate-stone-flooring-riven/flooring-slate-stone/ The Slate Company The above company is one that I use when my customers wish for high quality slate tiles, they offer a wide range of gauged slate meaning the thickness is uniform. They supply and deliver flooring and also roofing slate and they can advise you on all aspects of laying and sealing if you are DIY. I would highly recommend them
