Chalk Paint to make good walls?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.03 PM

Has anyone ever used and then sanded back chalk paint to make good cracks and nicks in walls? I have been advised by a decorator that this is better way forward than using filler. Any thoughts?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

would be better to cut the cracks out with a firm scraper then fill them with "toupret" interior filler which is excellent quality, then rub down with p80 or p100 grade sandpaper.

Agreed it is always better to widen then fill hairline cracks gives a smoother clean finish.
