Hi I was wondering if you can help. Some of the stones have come of on the outside bottom part of the walls of my property. So I will need to pebble dash the walls. I don't really know what kind of mortar or what other resources will I need. I have already got the small stones delivered but don't know what cement I will need. If you can help that would be great.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

when pebble dashing i use a 3:1:1 ration of sand, cement and lime. 3 sand, 1 cement and 1 lime. Also use a cup of waterproofer, this will stop the mix setting too quickly, help with waterproofing and act as a mortar plasticiser
