Garage floor damp proof

I had a garage converted into a games room earlier this year but the floor wasn't damp proofed. If I wanted to apply a damp proof product what is the right product to apply and does the floor need to be level or any specific tips thanks

You need to use a liquid DPM, you could use Sika Rapid Liquid DPM. You would need to ensure that the floor is complete clean, dry and free from any oil deposits. you should also be aware that these damp proof membranes have to be treated as delicate and have to overplayed with a resilient over floor cover of some sort. It doesn't have to be level but just reasonably smooth.

Please be aware, if you decide upon the application of a topically applied liquid membrane, the reliability of such is wholly dependent upon the substrate to which it is applied. Should defects be noted to the concrete, then these will need to be addressed prior to the application of a liquid topically applied membrane, or the system will likely be subject to failure.
