Canu reduce the flue on wood burning stove from6 inches to 5.5inches

Can you reduce the size of the flue from6 to5.5inches so it will fit a narrow chimmny

this all depends on the appliance if it is a defra exempt model you can use a 5in liner but if not you have to use a 6in liner also the appliance spigot has to be a 5in not 6in hope this helps carl oxon stoves

The flue can never be smaller that the appliance outlet size. If the appliance has a 6 inch outlet then the flue can only be a minimum of 6" 150mm regardless of defra exemption or not.
