Roof over triangular decking footprint

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.03 PM

I have a triangular decking area at the bottom of my garden. I want to build a roof over the top to create a summer house effect but because of the footprint and the position of the area how do i create the roof so that it is still pitched and looks symmetrical from the house

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Form your deck in OSB, and finish with fibreglass - can accommodate any shape.

It either would look strange because it is symetrical to the house or you make the pitch go from the back corner to the front. You could do some origami style roof, half thats pitched (triangle) and half that is level (another triangle with a decorative post) that would form a folded square.
