wiring cooker via a isolating switch from mains to switch

When wiring a cooker via isolating switch which is feed and which is Load?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

The feed is the cable from your fuse board, supplying the power to the isolator switch. The load is the cable supplying the appliance once you have switched the isolator into the on position.

the load is the appliance and the feed is the direction in which it is being fed from. Perhapes this isnt something you should attempt yourself. Best leave it to a professional with all due respect.

Normally top is feed and bottom is load, but it depends on the manufacturer of the switch, it should be labelled feed and load or in and out something like that. Sometimes its hard to see but it will be there.
