One Coat monocouche render.

Is one coat coloured through render such as parex/ krend monocouche system really only one pass (no base coat/ scratch coat required) Sales man is selling it as only one pass, but don't want to have cracking on my job in the render after 6/12 months. Newly built concrete block wall back ground

The One coat application is normally achieved with spray application,albeit achievable by hand we have done big housing ests in Glasgow and Edinburgh and the preferred method was to use a base coat which also stabilized the substrate.
