Plumbing

Low water pressure ,downstairs loo and outside tap.

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.03 PM

We have lived in the house now for a few years and since we have moved inthe toilet flush does not have enough power and the outside tap water just about comes out. Just unconnected the pipe which goes to the tap, thinking the tap is damaged but just trickles out of the pipe so tap is Ok. Water pressure is fine everywhere else in the house.

Hi with regards to your toilet it's most probably the Siphone that's broken as with the tap there's a faulty valve not opened fully somewhere. Between 1 - 3 Hours work

I would upgrade the toilet siphon and inlet valve (may as well do both at the same time) to a flush master. That would solve the toilet issue. Sounds like the siphon or flush valve is not working correctly. The tap could be a blockage in the pipe work leading to the tap or a valve is not fully open, I would go around and check all the valves first to eliminate a blockage.
