Can a shower tray be replaced, without the whole cubicle being replaced?

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.39 PM

I have a small crack in the shower cubicle. Water is leaking into the kitchen below. I want to know if this can be replaced?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, you say the crack is in the cubicle, but you want to replace the tray? The tray can be replaced quite easily just as long as the cubicle is removed carefully. You will need to remove all traces of silicon on the cubicle and area where the old tray met the tiles before installing new tray and reinstating old cubicle. Also I would recommend that you update the waste and trap on the new tray. I hope this helps 👍
