Plaster is mottled in a 1960's bungalow

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.39 PM

I have stripped a small room in a 1960's bungalow which I have recently bought The plaster is pink with a black mottled appearance all over each wall Some parts are darker than others There has been a thin membrane on part of the wall This is the only room which has this The survey stated there was no damp The electrician has chased out a few channels which will need to be plastered Not sure what I should do or where to get advice Will I need to remove the plaster layer or all the plaster to the brick I should be grateful for some advice Many thanks M
